UCD Formula Student is delighted to announce that Johnson & Johnson STEM Academy will sponsor the team for this academic year, 2020/21. The pharma and consumer packages multinational have confirmed they will give generous funding in return for the team’s extensive engineering expertise.

As part of the partnership, UCDFS will devise and deliver a course on electric vehicles for primary school students taking part in Johnson & Johnson’s STEM Academy programme. The classes will be taught using both recorded educational videos and interactive live demonstrations. Pupils will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience using safe reusable electric vehicle kits. The classes will offer an insight into sustainable practices and the future of EVs in the automotive industry.

We are very excited to begin this relationship with Johnson & Johnson STEM Academy. We look forward to bringing our classes, co-ordinated by the best in our engineering teams, to a new generation of young, bright minds.
